We are now in the middle of organising booster vaccines for those who had their second dose of the Coronavirus vaccine 6 months previously. Texts and phone calls are made to invite people – no need to contact us in the meantime.
Since the lifting of the rules on 19 July 2021 the practice at Towcester Medical Centre has NOT changed. We would be grateful if you would adhere to the following when visiting the surgery, either at Towcester or at Paulerspury:
- Please wear a face covering as you are entering an enclosed environment and other vulnerable people may be nearby.
- Please continue to sanitise your hands with the sanitiser in the porch area as you enter the building.
- We still have a one-way system in place to minimise contact.
- We have a maximum capacity of 9 in our waiting room and have marked out the available seating – if you see it is full, please offer to wait outside or in your car – but tell the receptionist where you will be so we know where to find you.
The pandemic has not gone away but with everyone doing what they can we will beat it!
Vaccines are still being given to anyone aged 18 or over. We have availability to book appointments both here (for Astra Zeneca only) or Brackley Medical Centre (for Astra Zeneca or Pfizer vaccines).
Walk-in centres are nearby – follow this link to find your nearest centre:
As from 1 August we can offer Pfizer vaccines to anyone who will be 18 years old in 3 months’ time. If you fit this criteria contact Towcester Medical Centre on 01327 359953 to find out more and to book an appointment. Those vaccines will be given at Brackley Medical Centre.
