For certain routine matters a telephone appointment is the most suitable way of consulting with the GP or nurse.
Test results, follow-up queries and some types of medication review can all be done over the telephone saving the patient a trip to the surgery.
Telephone appointments cannot be booked on line and need to be arranged by calling the surgery so our support staff can ensure that the call is booked with the right person at the appropriate time.
Telephone appointments are dealt with at the end of morning surgery or the beginning of afternoon surgery. You will be given an approximate time for the call. We can’t give exact time for phone calls as it will depend on the length of other calls on the list.
