Each GP has a limited number of next day appointments that are set aside each day to accommodate patients who need to be seen at short notice.
These appointments become available for booking from 08:00am on the morning before the appointment i.e. Tuesday appointments are available from 08:00am on Monday morning etc.
Receptionists can’t book these appointments in advance as they are only released at 08:00am by the computer system.
Next day appointments are not available for booking on-line.
